BALANCING HOLLYWOOD & FAITH

Many of us fall into the trap of striving to do and be something successful but lack the soul-awareness of knowing who we truly are. And ultimately, when we don’t know who we are, we end up missing our mark and living a life that’s not our own.

What if we could stop striving to be, and just be? What if we could rest in our authenticity and allow the universe to strive for us?

“GOD KNOWS THE PLANS HE HAS FOR US. HE HAS GIVEN US EVERYTHING WE NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THAT PLAN, BUT ALL THE RESOURCES CAN’T RESPOND TO YOU IF YOU’RE NOT YOU. THEY CAN ONLY RESPOND TO YOUR AUTHENTICITY.” -TOURÉ ROBERTS

Success is the byproduct of authenticity, and we won’t find our authentic selves by looking at what’s outside of us. We find ourselves when we take the time to prioritize looking internally and becoming soul-aware.

In episode 4 of Balance Talks, PT and “This Is Us” star Logan Shroyer discuss how important it is to define success for yourself, how Logan’s career success is the byproduct of his authenticity, and how getting into the rhythm of his soul has given him momentum in his life.

“THERE ARE MANY ROOMS I’VE WALKED INTO WHERE I DIDN’T FEEL LIKE I BELONGED OR FELT LIKE OTHER PEOPLE WANTED ME TO BE SOMEONE ELSE, BUT ALL I CAN DO IS DO WHAT I DO, CALL IT HOW I SEE IT, AND ALLOW GOD TO DO THE REST.” -LOGAN SHROYER
